The crown at 10 oclock operates the inner rotating bezel. The crown at 2 0clock operates the alarm. it works in the way that you set the alarm by pulling the crown and setting the alarm time, (white dial) you then push the crown back in. then you wind the alarm by rotating the crown forward. The alarm sounds like one of the old alarm clocks you kept at the bed side. It rings quite loud and clear and for about 20 seconds. You can stop the alarm by pulling the crown. many are surprised that a wrist watch can ring so loud. and its function is a definate coolness factor that you dont see in other wrist watches.
